It’s that time of the year again, folks! Diwali’s peeping around the corner and we’re thrilled to highlight an exciting upcoming collection by aMalaysian designer,Jeffrey Goh.
He’s the designer behind theinisaya collectionfrom the previousholiday-inspired piece we have featured before.
Always looking to incorporate our pride in batik into his collection, Diwali 2023 sees him taking it all up a style notch with batik crop top, skirts, sarees and kurta (for the guys!). Featuring the ever delightfulNandini Balakrishnanclad in the designer’s combo of batik crop top, skirt and a plain saree for a contrasting effect, theDiwali 2023’s Cahaya collectionis set to steal hearts of the young with a love foreasy wearing festive getups in our local batikthat’s super breezy perfect for the stormy yet insanely humid Malaysia during this time of the year.
For the guys, the inisaya arvind kurtais simply made for those who are into abstract florals in a combo of bold color schemes. It’s a batik kurta so the breathability is of the max key detail with long sleeves and side splits. It retains a classic straight cut silhouette that is very friendly to all body types.
